PREPARATION FOR Ph.D. WORKSHOP –  7th July

For the PhD Workshop, please prepare a PowerPoint (or similar) presentation on the topic that was accepted for the workshop. You have 15 minutes for the presentation, and 15 minutes are reserved for discussion and feedback. To leave sufficient time for feedback and discussion, it is important that you rehearse your presentation in advance to ensure you do not exceed 15 minutes. You can, of course, choose to present for 20 minutes and reserve 10 minutes for discussion and feedback.

PREPARATION FOR ORAL PRESENTATION

unnamed (17)

If your submission is accepted for an oral presentation at the conference ISDRS 2026, please prepare a PowerPoint (or similar) presentation on the topic accepted for the conference.

We recommend that you prepare a 10-minute presentation and reserve the next 5 minutes for Questions and Answers. Your total time will be 15 minutes for presentation and Q&A

You will receive time indications during the session; how much time is used. We will keep the time schedule tight in order to be fair to all presenters and keep the schedule moving smoothly.

Technical tips, see attached Power Point file

PREPARATION FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

A poster is an alternative to the oral presentation of a paper. The poster allows authors to create a self-explanatory document, but the authors should be available to interact with viewers and answer questions. It is a highly successful form of communication when it considers the needs of the public and the authors. Posters allow more time for authors and viewers to discuss the topic, more personal interaction and exchange of professional experience, ample question time with focus on your subject, and the potential for continued display of the poster at your workplace.

A space on a flat panel is assigned to each poster presenter. Only works accepted through the review process can be displayed on-site.

Poster dimensions: A1 series A – Portrait 594 x 841 mm

All poster authors are responsible for printing their own poster and bringing it to the conference.

Please note that we CAN’T print your poster at the host university.

Please print your poster on more sustainable materials: recycled paper or FSC-certified paper, and vegetable-based inks.

A template for posters will soon be posted here.

Your poster will be placed in the poster session in the program during the conference, and we kindly ask you to be present to discuss your research in a dedicated timeslot. We will update the schedule for you.

Please do not forget to take your poster with you at the end of your poster session. Other posters need to be inserted in your place for the following poster session.
